I am unsure of to react on this, she didnt ask me for permission to use my photo, she took if off of a proofs cd that i gave to her to choose prints from, i dont know if i should be happy or pissed, what do you think, how would you act in a civil manner if you knew the person. ad to make it worse she blew up the small image and made it fit this and it looks like crap
I'm not sure if her motives were bad. You did state that she had a proofs CD. She might have asssumed that since she had the CD and she was the model that she had the right (and perhaps permission) to use them. Just erring on the side of misunderstanding.
i dont know ... i'll probably warn her, especially if you new each other.
and of course tell her that this is not nice thing to do, then hug each other to make it up :-)

Did you give her full-sized pics on CD as proofs? I resize my proofs to 500dpi if I'm going to give them on CD - 90% of the time though I have the clients view proofs online.

You should at least tell her to ask you in the future so you can give her a better file that willl only make her look better. And that when someone uses it for free they need to at least put your copyright notice on teh photo used.
yeah, i am not going to deal with her anymore, this is the second problem i have had with her,
she had put some of my photos on her myspace, and she had edited them and they look like crap so i told her thats cool if you want to market for me, but i wand to put my logo on the photos and edit them my way, and he fliped saying she didnt watn that
Looks like you both had certain rights and they were exclusive of each others. You may want to change the release in the future that states; only final edited photos can be used by either party and use of proofs violate the copyright of the photographer.
