I think the best way is just to link to them from the forums. If you don't have anywhere to host them, I've seen a lot of people use pbase.com.
Once you've got them hosted, you can post links (recommended for several images) or you can post images inline in the forums (click the 'apply built in commands' link on the post page to get the code to do so). Keep in mind image dimensions and page size before you use this option.
