I had a huge internal conflict, which to enter?
I entered the full colour pic, but now maybe I should have entered the colour/b&w version.
Any thoughts?

I liked the one you entered. He(she?) still stood out and yet showed how well the little critter was camoflauged within the surroundings.

the full colour is much better. No point in doing a desat for no reason.

I agree. The one with colours is more beautiful. The partially desaturated is a bit steril for me.
