Ellie and I got kicked out of Melissa's basketball game yesterday because she wasn't in school yesterday. She wasn't in school because she COULD NOT walk and I couldn't get the crutches until after 1:30 PM which I explained to the woman but she wasn't listening. Then the superintendent got in my face because I said "Screw It" in front of students. Well what about her teacher getting in my face over a legitimate reason for Ellie missing school? "She's just doing her job." was the reply. Yeah, I can tell her what she can do with her job. I have a letter to pass along to the Board of Education about the situation asking for an apology to Ellie. They can attend event is they have a legitimate excuse for missing school and Ellie did have that.
Then the village idiot, er inspector comes by and wants in my back yard so he can see the garbage for himself. Well, that would be fine except there is NO garbage in my backyard, construction debris which he said he would give us until April 1st to remove. I told him NO, you cannot enter my yard. He said he would get a court order and I told him to go for it. Then I told him I don't even care anymore, that it is my husband's problem, not mine and he can deal with him. I had Terry call him as soon as he came home. Also, this guy is supposed to be the Village building inspector. While he's standing there complaining about garbage on my property it took everything I had not to scream, "DO YOU EVEN SEE THIS PORCH?" It's literally falling apart, the rain rot and soft floor boards are unreal. Yet he's concerned about construction debris in my yard. What an idiot.
Then James lost the stylus to my PDA and I don't have a replacement. I'm overdrawn at the bank, my dogs are acting up again and I still hate this house with a passion. It would not bother me one bit if the whole thing just fell apart, burned to the ground or I just walked away. I wouldn't even look back at this place.

I need my mom but alas she's 2000 miles away and getting ready for surgury in March. I need to get out of this funk and start moving again. I need to quit whining and start doing but it's always easier said than done, ya know?

POOOOR Deannda - This is all just miserable! Remember you will get beyond whining and you will start doing - just give yourself some time and understanding. Forcing it sometimes just makes it worse for me! I need to allow myself to be in a funk for a while - I do think the bath idea sounds very helpful! Or some equivalent. I like to sing LOUDLY in the car. Best wishes!
