At least with basic rules a wildlife shot in a zoo had to be carefully composed. Now a little blur here, a clone there, etc. and all sign of man are gone.
Those who go out in the wild to get a wildlife shot are at an greater disadvantage now.
Awsome, due to the fact that there was no way for me to do what i would have for tribute i just assumed wildlife was it for me..... hmmmmm now i gotta think about this one. maybe ill just shoot both and see where which one turns out better
Naw...actually, I think it was a good choice at least for Tribute (as it is like very hard to reproduce some artists styles without advanced technics they used). And I guess, it would seem unfair to make one OPEN challenge ADV and not the other.

Well I was going to meet the challenge of the Tribute challenge by trying to emulate the great Henri Cartier-Bresson whose prints were made stright from the negative without any manipulation.
I wanted to see what he saw, I wanted to think like he had to, I wanted to work the problem and see if I could do it.
For me, there's no challenge in this Challenge now, I'm kind of sad about that but I can see if you're trying to be Adams, you need help.
I thought this would be great to have these as advanced rules and I would be looking very much forward to it. One problem - I was shooting some night shots and I dropped my camera, it fell onto some rocks and now it won't power-up! I guess I'll have to sit these out! :(

Bummer! Try taking the batteries out for a few minutes, and maybe replace with some fresh ones.
My Olympus took (another) fall a couple of months ago, and after repeated applications of the above technique and a few start-up/shut-down cycles it seemed to return to normal functioning.
