I just want to say that the 1.6 enlargment on canon digital cameras is crappy, It just seems weird you buy a 50mm it shoots like a 80mm but has all the dinamics of a 50mm lens. And the kicker is the widest prime I can get is a 14mm which works out to a 22mm (did the math in my head) I don't know maybe when you buy a super wide lens you would like to keep it super wide. I love my camera but boy would Iove it more with I could think like I was shooting 35mm for my lens choices, I guess I will just have to get use to it or buy a Zoom (ichy). Anyways blahhhhhhhh

This is the reason why the Canon 5D is such a hot camera. I prefer the added 1.6, 1.5, 2.0 of the other dSLRs because I hardly shot up close.

well all the long lens get an extra kick but it just wastes a whole selection of lens.... I love my camera I just want my lens to have proper dyamics, and there is no way I'm ever going to film unless its in a movie camera but thats a differenet rant

What he's saying is, if this bothers you so much get a Canon 5D: the sensor is the size of 35mm film and there's NO crop factor. All your lenses will behave "normally".
Well I got my camera on a whim and only did like a days reasearch.... and how much does the 5D go for? (As you repond I will be looking for the price I'm guessing its outside of my range)
I have the 5D and it´s amazing, but since I shoot birds, I woudn't mind getting a used 20D for that, since my 70-200 is a bit short on fullframe.. I had to sell my 20D to finance the 5D :(

How long have you had the 20D? Where did you buy it? If it's very new, and you bought it at a local store, they very likely would credit you nearly all the ourchase price if you returned it and bought the 20D.
