Hi Kali, I'm one. I am still very new in undewater photos, though. I only started taking digital underwater shots last April while in the Philippines. I am using the waterproof case made by Canon for Powershot S45. I really love underwater scenes! As a shameless plug for the hobby, here's the blown-up picture of the little one in my profile:

The only experience I have with underwater photography is with those little disposables! LOL! One shot (in Tahiti) actually turned out really nice but my scanner just crapped out so you'll just have to take my word for it. I didn't know that you could buy waterproof cases for cameras. I just figured you had to have a full on seperate waterproof camera! Guess this is something I should think about before I purchase my next camera. Thanks for replying! Aloha
Thanks for the comment! It's really quite convenient to have the case if you like a lot of underwater fotos. The actual case makes the Powershot look like a toy. MANY children stopped me to ask what it was :). It is made of very clear and sturdy plastic (I accidentally dropped it on stone pavement, with my camera inside; no damage was done, thankfully!), with yellow and blue buttons to serve as the external "extensions" of the camera's switches. One caveat though is this: once you place the camera in the case, you can't turn it off manually. It will have to remain on, but it will automatically be in standby mode after about a minute of inactivity. The battey, however lasts for a long time. In my experience, up to three hours of normal operation (mostly while snorkelling at different locations, using NO flash).
BTW, the availability of the waterproof case for the Powershot was actually what made me decide to buy the S45. Now, if they can make cases for SLR's, that would be really fantastic!
