Just a confession to make.
Few times I have accidentally clicked on the Report Post when I wanted to Quote a post. Worse still, I actually typed in there and posted.
Sorry to the SC people, my wrong.
How funny this should come up. I've done it a time or two. I was just thinking earlier of starting a thread asking if a lot of people have done that, and if SC get's a lot of post reports that state 'oops, meant to hit quote, sorry...'
I THINK I've caught myself each time and have been able to contact a member of SC and ask them to delete it from the queue but I may have missed some... if I have I'm sure they'll have quickly figured out what happened and hit the delete button!
The obvious (I always thought) clue is that the text of the message your quoting doesn't show up in the message text box. I've clicked the button a few times, but have always caught myself because there was no quote there.
