Do you have any clue what it's like to know that you know the tone of someone who is posting, but when looking at the name, it doesn't mean a thing?
See, I've been gone for a little while, but before I left, I had gotten used to reading the quibs, etc... and always enjoyed them.
I come back and this name is nowhere to be found! Hmmmm... did something happen to him? =:-{ And then I read in a Gauntlet thread a post by bear asking about the beloved enquirer. Still, nothing rings a bell!
Flipping through previous posts to see what has been happening here while gone, I find a post that I KNOW is Ken's.
But, what the heck! That is not Ken's username!
It is not nice to mess with people who have been gone!
Am just glad that you are still around.. and from what I read over on the General Discussion list... congrats are to be yours very soon!

Yeah, the truth is that someone hacked into the system and maliciously changed my username. Ok that's not the truth. The truth is - you can't handle the truth.
...maybe the truth is that it's 3am and I'm losing some of my dwindling sanity. In any case, thanks for the note and welcome back.

The funny thing is that I can totally relate to the OP. It took me a while to notice the change as well. I kept seeing posts by "art" and I just thought he was some wanna-be copying Ken's style. And then when I learned that you ARE Ken I felt really stupid.
In case you hadn't seen it, he was bestowed and adopted the new name as a direct result of producing this masterpiece:

not to change the whole tone of this, but i just read that Wayne's Mom passed away today..
my thoughts are with him and his family..he had just taken time off from coaching to be with her..
