We enforce this rule to the best of our ability. If you see an image that you have reason to believe was taken outside the dates, please recommend it for disqualification. Be sure to state the basis for your reasoning (if you saw it on another site include a link) in the request, then vote as if the image is valid and allow us to pursue it.
We do enforce this rule as best we can, but if a photographer is willing to lie about the date of the photograph, it is often hard to catch.
