Some of you may have noticed that the layout of the Help/Contact page changed a few weeks ago.
The back-end coding for this change is now in place, and starting now you can use the Contact page to reach all of Site Council with a single message! For private issues (such as those involving payment problems), you can also select an option to have your question go to just the Administrators.
As always, we recommend using the forums for your question whenever appropriate. That way, the entire community benefits from your question and its answer. If you have a question that needs to be addressed privately (such as a question regarding your challenge entry), the new contact form can be used to pose your question without having to PM several Site Council members individually. It should also be used for issues that can only be addressed by us (like adding cameras to the database). Of course, problems with forum posts should still be addressed using the "Report Post" button and not the contact form, and DQ requests during challenges should be submitted using the same link you've always used.
We hope this feature makes things more convenient for everyone!
Since this new contact page comes with the ability to deliver an attachment as well, could it be used to send a validation file before the challenge starts, in the event someone is going on vacation and will miss the entire voting period??
