Am I wrong or is there a higher number of 'snapshots' than 'photographs' in the AT WORK challenge than usual. Maybe this challenge subject is not as conducive to producing photographs.

I had a setup shot and I'm getting pasted for it. I'm all about snapshots now. lol

I suspect in a lot of cases (like mine), to get the person you want, you can't get very close, and so the picture will likely have that "snapshot" look. However, I look at this more as a photojournalism-type exercise; capturing someone in their everyday activities, compared to shooting a book illustrating the complete history or techniques of a particular trade. The image type/quality should suit the subject/situation.

My shot in reality could be considered a snapshot but considering I took the photo over 60 times and spent most of an afternoon doing it I wouldn't consider it a snapshot....

I think that you are confusing snapshots with photojournalism. There is a big difference, I feel. I can tell that in many of the shots for the Work challenge, photographers have thought about point of view, background, lighting, and composition in an effort to record, in an artistic way, these people at work.
