Curious indeed. If you had been suspended on purpose, you should have received a notice from the admins. I would suggest contacting them now if you're not sure what happened and see if they know anything.
It happens to me every weekday between 1am and 3pm. But that's because I set my firewall up to block access to it and then I had my wife change the password to the router, so only she knows it. That way I can get some work done.
I recommend this to all members of DPCers Anonymous. I tried cold turkey once but got the shakes real bad.

Are you serious? That's extreme, man, really extreme... My hat's off to you.
It's possible that someone else's actions caused the site to block a range of IP addresses which included the ones typically assigned you by your ISP (unless you have a static IP address). It will take research by the admins to find out what happened for sure.
DPC just got blocked for me at work--within the last half hour. I suppose they noticed that I was registering a lot of hits on dpchallenge.com. However, the point that they seem to be missing, in blocking DPC, is that's distractions are an important part of getting work done.
