You'll find that it's not really about the competition, but about the fun, the comradery, and the learning. Use the scores to see what others think of your photos and how you're improving. Comments received during challenges can sometimes be invaluable for learning. This site probably has the highest percentage of people that take photography serious, but not the competition. They really keep it in perspective. So go ahead, get hooked on the update button like the rest of us.

I will take some photos and get in the challenges I see the pictures have to be taken during a set period of time. I am looking forward to spending a lot of time here.
