I think a good photo, one that someone has worked hard on, deserves a pat on the back (i.e a comment). Other pictures that have not made the grade deserve a helpful comment, not derisory or spiteful, but one that will help those photographers improve their work. I've only been on this site for a couple of weeks and have given plenty of slaps on the back when voting, but am hesitant to give advice to others for fear of someone taking offence. Who the hell is THIS guy, anyway? I've sold pictures to magazines and won a magazine competition, my site can be found at www.123freehost.co.uk/sites/ftm. Judge for yourselves whether I'm worthy to give advice as I don't want to be thought of as Peewee Hermann offering advice to Arnie Schwarzenegger (LOL).
