great shots, lisa! one tip that i got from the sports editor was to 'fill the frame--if you can't crop in tight enough when shooting, crop it in as tight as possible when you're editing.' hope you get more opportunities like that!

thanks, paul! those backgrounds are definitely one of the challenges/hazards that come with shooting from the ground in a small, sparsely populated stadium ;-)
