Nope, people simply can't see that an entry into a challenge might be a joke. Let's face it. Not every photo we take is to be taken seriously and my self-portrait is definitely one of those.
I'll admit I DO have a bias! Funny gets points from me. I like great photos, studio tricks, beautiful flowers (go ahead, I can take it!) beautiful people, too. I'm not going to list all the things I like 'cause I can already sense your eyes glazing over. I love humor and will reward it. Of course, a poorly focused, poorly composed, badly exposed and presented photo won't evoke a laugh, just a sigh.
