I had to creep out of a very large hole to get my 5.45 .. for the first 50 votes, i went from 5.3 allll the way down to 4.5 .. then for the last 200 votes it started creeping back up.. ever so slowly.. i thought i'd never hit 5 for a while :)
Agreed. Although I could visualize some of them, and some made immediate sense to me, I would have liked to have been able to use text for this challenge too. Ah well! Next time? LOL :)
Refracted, I love your shot. I was imediately able to see that on a magazine cover. Mainly because I've read a lot of car magazines. Just so you know, I was one of the voters that gave you a 10. Great work. Being able to see it with the text shows how a lot of people, I'm sure, missed the point. Same goes for the others who showed their examples.
I have to say, I'm really impressed by all three of the magazine covers posted here. I sometimes fear the outcome of letting people have free editing/text addition to their photos because so many people have no idea when it comes to graphic design and fonts and so frequently, what could have been a good picture, ends up looking awful. I think all three of yours could have easily been magazine covers. Nice job.
