Another photog and I are going sunday.
If anyone else is there, look for two guys with Canon 1D Mark II and a II N with big lenses at the Flight Deck Chalet section.
Was just about to say I would be there on Sunday (working on Saturday - too many apointments already booked) and just realized I told my son I would go out & about with him, in search of a car for him.
Oh well, been there before anyway - ya'll have fun!
The Blue Angels will be at Pt Mugu the following week along with the SEALs parachute team, the Leap Frogs. However, the MCAS Miramar show will offer much more.
If this one is too far....go to Pt Mugu in Ventura County next week! You just miss out on the F-117, B-2, F-16, Harier, marine corps helicopters, tanks, wall of fire, etc.... hmmmm maybe I should go to Miramar too. My girlfriend and I went last year and had a blast. But I think this year I will go to Pt Mugu to see the Leap Frogs and the Blue Angels.

Well from the vantage point of the hills in Poway (up behind my house), I managed a few from a completely different perspective. I'll come back and edit this tomorrow with a few shots.
Today wasn't a loss, as my son just bought his first car today (with an extra signature so he wouldn't get raped on interest), and now jumps into the real world - car payments!

The Chalet is the way to go. I felt like a somewhat of a VIP :)
