It's a funny old world... I spent ages setting up my picture for the magazine challenge, and it is so far my lowest rated photo, which is ironic considering I spent the most amount of time planning it and setting it up. Then my 'Off-centre' picture which I entered at the last minute is getting rave comments. I wasn't that bothered by it!

I know what you mean. I labored over my multi-image photo, spending way too much time shooting and adjusting it, and it did ok. But my off-centre is doing great, just a quick shot of something I happened upon with no forethought and hardly any adjustments, and it's my best-rated photo yet. Go figure.

I understand your feelings too. All of my submissions fail to make the grade, but it is still fun to create them. At least I like them all.

My off-center shot was carefully planned and I took a hundred shots or so. I cropped it very meticulously, and made it look just like I wanted it. Right now, it isn't even breaking a 5.0. Oh well, better luck next time.
