Two different images for the challenge were uploaded with the same filename. Due to an error in the site code, the second image file overwrote the first, and both voting pages displayed the same image. To prevent invalid votes from being recorded, both images were disqualified temporarily. Once it was determined who the surviving image belonged to, that image was un-disqualified this morning. The user whose file was overwritten was allowed to resubmit his image, and was undisqualified this afternoon.
Apologies to the voters and especially to the affected photographers for the confusion.
