Traded in my 2000 Mustang GT for a 2003 Dodge Durango SXT last night. It's tough to part with my pony, but it isn't practical as an only car. Not when you are a homeowner. It's roomy and rides sooooo smoove!
Congrats! I just got a new car too. I could only afford a Kia Spectra though. The good thing is that they have a great warranty and I didn't pay in arm and a leg to get it.
I have three little boys, so we have a Suburban. Rear shocks tested and work just fine.
I drive a 69 Chevy pickup...

Congratulations! Good thing you don't live in Oregon. They might put a GPS device under your hood and charge you for miles driven. :)

I went out and about looking for landscapes to photograph this weekend and I really could have used this vehicle. My little Corolla nearly became centered on a rocky road leading to a river bank.

I have a 1969 F-150. And when my other vehicles don't start up in the 30 below weather I can always count on my old ford to start up and get me where I need to go.
I sold my last car in 1991. Whenever I need a vehicle, I rent one. Not only do I save thousands of dollars per year, but I get to pick a different car or truck (perhaps for a different purpose) each time I rent!
I'm happy for you Bamaster. It's a very sharp looking vehicle. My husband has a 94 Mustang GT and it looks like brand new. He only drives it in the summer and treats it like a baby. I admit it's not a practical vehicle and doesn't have that smooth drive but guys seem to go for that kind of thing. To be honest with you I'd rather have the Durango. Hope you enjoy it.

Yeah, my 2000 GT had quite a few bolt-ons. It was a real rough ride, which is fun. But I was packing more than 20K miles a year on it. I drive it everywhere! Six out of the last eight weekends I was out of town for a bowling tournament. Eight hours in the Mustang is very taxing on me. It's just not a cruising car. Besides, as a homeowner, it doesn't make and sense to have a Mustang as your only car. I can't count the times I had to borrow my father's truck to go to Home Depot.
My Mustang club is giving me hell about this. But all the family guys and homeowners are like, yeah it sucks but I understand 100%!
