It was fixed! The game shouldn't even count!
In the last 50 seconds of the game, the Patriots marched the ball down the field and into easy field goal range to kick the game-winner, making it 23-20 with one second left...Without the last 50 seconds, they would have had to attempt a 60+ yarder (keep in mind that the longest field goal EVER kicked at Heinz Field was 48 yards -- and that was only on the opposite side of the field -- the side they were kicking into is even shorter).
Anyway...in the 4th quarter, with 14:01 left, a penalty was called, the clock continued to run down to 13:57 at which time it stopped, then they reset the clock. It should have been reset to 14:01...but instead it was reset to 14:51!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a conspiracy I tell you...a conspiracy!
Anyway, I can't say whether the Steelers would have won or lost in OT, but the game SHOULD have gone into OT either way you look at it.
