Yes, it's stored in the EXIF metadata in the .jpg file. Later versions of Windows allow you to see this data if you right-click on the photo in Explorer, select Properties, click the Summary tab and then select Advanced. The Auto ISO ranges from 100-320.
Hello, Still haven't figured out the ISO. Checked in properties, summary, picture, explorer...I have Windows ME...I get stats, but not for the ISO.
Anyway, new question. I rarely take distance shots and tried recently in the SCN mode and Auto mode. Both had pix problems when downsized for the challenge. I am wondering if this is just common for distance shots or if I inadvertently pushed a button that I shouldn't have while capturing the shot. Thanks, Marjo

Could you put up examples? Hard to tell what may have gone wrong without seeing the result.

I found out I had it set in Aperture mode at F2! I am such a goof! That was before I realized I had to press down on the jog dial.
