Wow, I thought this was gonna be an easy one, but I actually drew a blank when thinking of what to shoot. Don't wanna do the obvious (computers, cell phones, tv, stereos) so I did some searching.

I found this site on technology which has given me (too many?) ideas. Hope this helps someone else.

That's good. However, it does limit one's ideas to current technology and says nothing to any technology designed within the previous 10,000 years!

I'm about stumped too. Not sure whether or not to go high tech. Thought about macro of a chip. Thought about lazer bounced off all kinds of stuff. Thought about an arrow head, or lever, something from early technology. (Don't I wish now I had paid more attention to that program on the top 10 inventions of all time. I remember one of them was the wheel, that's about it.)

Perhaps, I'll do a half naked lady, pushing a small child in a waggon, who is holding a flower and a dog. From what I underdstand, that should about guarantee a win... Right?

For a change I already have a submission and a couple of alternates to consider, but then again, I voted for the "wide interpretation" category in the recent poll...

I thought DNA was more a discovery than an invention! And it is interesting to see that 4 of the 1o enable us to communicate and become informed!

4 The metal tools (axe chissel knife drills etc)
5 Copper wire
6 Concept of using steam as power (basis for all piston engines)
