Wow, the list is slowly growing :) Have I just awaken the dragon? :p Anyway, the reason I asked the first question was because I dont see much photos that says "asia" in DPC. Maybe I've just not looked deep enough. Hehe. How about shooting some photos with some Asian flavour in them? ^^
i am romanian and i have spent more than 5 years in china. i am fluent in mandarin (though my 100% romanian daughter is far better than me) ...does it count?
If you want to go through the trouble, you can go to the "Community" menu and go to Photographer Profiles. At the bottom is a search field for location--leave everything else blank, and enter the countries you're interested in (one at a time?) and save the resulting lists.
good question. Seem many asks "does this count?" also. Well, does it really matter? If you feel you are, then you are :) Who are Asians? Those who are a resident in Asian countries and also those born there, or those who are related to Asians. Just my personal interpretion :)

haha I think there's definitely more "asians" here than you think :P Here's another one :P and my friend who introduced me to this site is a chinese too, just living in Canada :P
I'm Asian - I'm an Indian, born in UK.
Though I seldom even think about how many others there are of a particular race/ part of the world.
I guess I can be defined by my race, my background, my education, my looks, my weight, my hobbies, my personality.......
Personally I just don't tend to put myself in boxes or think of myself as anything other than "me".
My daughter, PaulinaRD, who used to enter challenges here, is from India. She is not allowed to become a member because of her age (8), and so does not enter challenges any more.

She is probably the youngest Asian.
She can become a member if you fill out a waiver form and send it to the admins. Isaac has been a member since he was five, and I know there are some other youngsters participating as well.
