These bubbles scores are BULL$HIT! I'm currently sitting at a 4.3 (while typing this rant) in the Bubbles challenge, that score is LOWER THAN MY FIRST ENTRY WHEN I STARTED ON DPC! My current entry in the bubbles challenge is in no way 4 material but, I'm biased of course. From the looks of it, others are feeling the same way so let this be a place we can all feel safe about letting it all come out, let’s kick some ass people.
I don't care what people say about how they vote, numbers don't lie. People are throwing around 1's, 2's and 3's without offering any comments on how to make a shot better. And before anyone starts by saying: "There are no rules on how to vote." Save it. I've seen post, after post, after post about how people "Don't give out 1's, 2's or 3's without leaving comments." Bullsh!t, DO THE MATH PEOPLE, I've got a few 1's, 2's and 3's in there and ZERO COMMENTS! Hell, if you don't like my shot, fine. Have the NUTS TO TELL ME! I'd take a "It f*cking sucks" over nothing at all! How are any of us supposed to learn anything around here if we don't know what we are doing wrong?
Now I'm not a great photographer, I'm still a newbie, but I'm trying to learn and become better at this art form we all enjoy. Or at least try that is, and if you check the ol' profile out I have been. Other than that dipsh!t move on my part in the color portrait challenge but we’ll just not bring that up. Also, before anyone rips me a new one on only having 494 comments posted, I'm working on getting my comments up too. SO THERE!
While I'm on my little soap box pissing the world off; WTF is up with cats IN EVERY challenge as of late? I know you love your pussy(cat) and all, but people, GET OUT OF YOUR HOUSE!

This post is the final straw. I am embarking on a mission to comment on all images that I scored below 4. Not being especially tactful, I'm sure to offend a few. All of this in the hopes of reaching those, like you, who complain about receiving low scores without comments.
Now, I don't want to hear any crap out of you, if your image is one of those I comment on;) (Although, I hope it isn't). I'm also tempted to refer any complaints I get to this thread.
BTW, Don't feel too bad. I suffered a bout of update button withdrawal and composed an entry in the last 15 minutes of the challenge. It's sure to be one of my worst ever! I haven't gotten any comments, but there is no question in my mind as to why.
I have a 5 score on my bubble entry. I had several great photos to chose from and of course the one I like everyone else thinks sucks. I also have no comments. It is very dissapointing to enter a challenge and end up in the middle range almost everytime. Not that I should be winning ribbons because I am not that good yet, but do my pictures have to get low scores?

Although I'm not totally unhappy with my score (I did think it would be a bit higher, but what do I know?), I am very perplexed as to why there are 105 votes and NOT A SINGLE COMMENT!!!
I've received 30some comments in the 3 other challenges combined, but ZIPPO in this one?!?!?!

OK, I read this and went back and commented on every 1,2,and 3 that I gave. I had commented on many already, but now there are none without a comment. I will try to comment on 4's and 5's later. It is frustrating to not know what people are thinking. I get very few comments--4 on perspective, 10 on branch.
TeeQ and Naldsic--have you commented on any of my shots?
