OMG... which part of the Maine coast to pick?? ROFL Well having grown up there (and now live in Montreal and would LOVE to go, but have other plans this weekend), I have lots of ideas of where to go...
I agree that Baxter is a great place to go... but you should also check out Bar Harbor and if you have a chance to go Down East, check out Quoddy Head Park in Lubec... also Roque Bluffs in Machiasport area is a picturesque (sp?) place to photograph...
I could go on and on, but it all depends on what part of Maine you're staying and what type of coastal pictures you want.... all the sand beaches are south near Portland and Old Orchard beach, while all the rugged, rock beaches are further north east... |
