Im in Philadelphia, a mere hour away from Lancaster. I am often up in Mount Gretna, because my girlfriend lives there, and that is only about a 20ish minute drive to Lancaster as well.
35 minutes away... or an hour plus with the construction :-\
When the foliage hits, I'm heading up to blue rocks in lenhartsville if either of you two are interested. If I'm not mistaken, its less than an hour drive for both of you.
Anyone have projected times for the fall foliage this year in PA. I'm thinking it's going to be earlier since it was such a dry summer. I will be up near Punxsutawney again this year.
I'm from Lancaster originally--lived there for the first 25 years or so of my life, and went to MU. I'm currently living near Philly--bout an hour away.
I just got back from a trip up Punxsutawney. The leaves are already starting to turn. It's amazing! I guess the drought is causing it. Judging from what I see...I'd give it 2-3 weeks and there will be full color.
