The weekend before Thanksgiving might work for me as well. I'll also have to take off work on Friday. I've never been there so where do you recommend staying?
It's off season for Page so the hotels are cheap. In April I stayed at the Quality Inn for $40/night (again off season). There are several hotels and they are all pretty close together.
I don't have any camping gear. So I think a hotel might be better for me. I'll be out of town as of 9/15 and won't be back until 9/25. If you all decide on a date email or PM me. I'm not sure if I will be able to get on the internet while on vacation. I will have my laptop with me so I will try to at some point.
Wish I could join you. I was there last week and already want to go back. Got this shot among many others. The Indian guides know the time of day the sun shines in and where. Be sure to catch Horseshoe Bend also.
My plan is to hit Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Paria Movie Set, Whitehouse Indian Ruins, Toadstools, maybe a short trip into Buckskin Gulch, maybe Marble Canyon/Lee's Ferry/Navajo Bridge and hopefully a sand stone walkabout to see if I can find anything new.

Hey- not sure at this point if I can go, it's gonna be a wait & see if we have the money type of thing... I didn't realize quite how far away Page really was! :0)
