When critiquing a picture, and sometimes in forum posts, I use abbreviations, and other members do also. I realize that some newer folks may not be familiar with them, and other terminology.

In the interest of saving time to do more critiques I like to use "bg" for background, "dof" for depth of field, but I always wonder if the person, whose work I'm commenting on, knows what I'm talking about.
