Browsing through Snops for ideas this afternoon, I read about the kidnapping by disguising the child before taking them out of a public place. The article tried to debunk this by saying how timeconsumming and unlikely this would be. CSI-Miami just demonstrated and added to that urban myth. double ugg.

CSI also supported the urban legend about the scuba diver being found in a tree after a forest fire.

Except actually debunked the myth in the process by going away from the
idea of the diver being scooped up by fire crews and showing the body
being dumped.

I thought the scuba diver was actually propelled up into the tree from his tank or something after he has left by his killer. It was a while ago but I thought it was something like that.
