Yeah, I've got two 128MB sticks already and those have been plenty. I always have my desktop or laptop somewhere close by in case the cards run low.
Do you get to the point where the battery pack gives you problems? I've never had a problem with my pack running low prematurely, even on trips when I venture out for an entire day. I have thought about an extra one just in case though.
What about filters, external flash, etc? Anyone ever bought any of the lenses you see here and there? The 2X, wide angle, etc?
What are some accessories that you have/want for your Sony that you can't/don't want to live without?

I have a Lowepro bag, Sony VCL-HGD0758 .7 wide angle conversion lens,Sony VCL-HGD1758 1.7 telephoto conversion lens, Sony M-DR1 wired remote control, 3 128 meg memory sticks, 1 32 meg memory stick, a second InfoLithium M series NP-FM50 battery, a 12 gig Xs Drive, generic lens hood, Quantaray 1+, 2+, 3+, 4+ close up filters, six point star filter, circular polarizer, uv filter, Hoya 2X, 4X, and 8X neutral density filters, a spot filter, lens pen, a generic table top tripod, a generic 65" tripod and carrying case, a Monfrotto monopod, and a Sony HS-model 17" Flat Panel LCD SDM-HS73/H monitor to view my photographs on.

I would like to eventually get a Gitzo carbon fibre mountaineer tripod to take with me when I travel.
I love the case I bought...the Sony LCSFX. It's very high quality, fully leather and has a memory stick and battery pouch. I'd recommend it.
I found the VCLHGD1758 (1.7x telephoto) for $206 US on www.techonweb.com so I'm going to get that too. Should be great for portraits, sports and wildlife.
Filters, too, though you must get good quality ones. My Tiffen linear polarizer is crap and I wish I'd bought a higher-quality one.
A nifty thing I've set up is a reverse-coupling ring to reverse-mount a Pentax 50mm F/1.4 lens. The rings are available on the net from various sources. This setup gives great macro performance once you get used to it.
hey wow, thats a good price... i know i wouldn't buy the f717 in the states when i'm in canada because of warranty issues (basically, the US warranty is void in canada), but i wonder how it works for accessories like this.. at that price, it's only 30$ more than alternative lenses i was looking at (the raynox 1.85x at 240$).. plus, it ends up being 275$ canadian, versus the 550$ sony wants for it.
and if the warranty issues are fine.. how reliable is that place? i dont buy much stuff online except from stores i know..
For all of those now excited about getting a telephoto or wide angle lens. I will warn you now to stay clear of products that are made from opteka. The distortion on the telephoto is so bad that the digital zoom is better in clarity and range.
The wide angle is decent as far as I can tell but I have nothing to compare it too.
It seems to me that if you are going to get those type of lenses you should just shell out the 200 dollars and get one made by sony.
