After reading a particular thread a minute ago I focused all of my thots on the positive aspects of my life. I meditated, spent some time in prayer and just was relaxing and getting in 'the groove.' I opened my eyes and saw a picture of my neice (that my mom took) which is the wallpaper of my desktop. Doesn't she make you feel good and just smile. Maybe thats what a few ppl around here should do more....just smile and be happy about the smaller things in life....like a child's laughter.

Since this IS in the "RANT" section I hope SC will not edit what I say. I asked "where was your god???" In another thread and you have YET to answer. I feel this is a valid question when someone is getting beaten, robbed or worse yet starving in another country.

Why don't you start another thread dedicated to this topic... this is a thread that was suppose to provide relief from your other one. I would be happy to answer that question in another thread.

Don't speak for someone else. I don't want to start another thread as it is SC locked the original thread to stop a voice from being heard instead of moving it to the rant forum (thanks manic). Thats NOT what that thread was about but he hasn't answered my question.

I've seen evolution/creation debates go on forever. It's a battle nobody will accept defeat in. And if anybody wants to have an annoying debate about geology with me, my rate is $65 per hour... and I'm a very slow typist.

I find it interesting that you seem to take such pleasure in discomfitting others. Most people, when they find a forum with which they disagree or in which they have no interest just hit the Home link again and move on.
The fact that a thread is located under the Rant Section does not give users the right to divert the thread from its intended topic and to post on non-related subjects or issues. This technique -- known as threadjacking -- is not permitted by the TOS here, and is likewise prohibited in virtually every other online forum of which I'm aware. Your constant attempts to prevent other users from engaging in discourse on their chosen topic is disrespectful in the extreme, and borders on an attempt to interfere with site functions.
You may start your own rant thread and call us fascists all you want, but don't act as self-annointed dictator/usurper/censor of all other people's threads.
Fact is, you agreed to all these rules and site structure when you registered for this site.
So ... if you never intended to abide by them you are a fraud and a liar, or if you didn't understand them you're mighty careless, or if you thought that by repeatedly insulting the people who run the site (and everyone else here) you'd get the rules changed you're a fool.
