This was shot with a Canon 70-200 f/2.8 lens from the sidelines of the game. As far as getting on the sidelines, it's different in different places. I must present my certified credentials to get on the field this season. They have been having problems with too many people showing up on the sidelines, so only press issued credentials will get you there now. It never hurts to ask though.
Yes, I do shoot for a newspaper but I'm not the main photographer. Marie Freeman is the main one and I back her up. I shoot for the Watauga Democrat and Mtn. Times. I need to upgrade my gear badly.
