London GTG 5 (20 Aug) - PHOTOS UP!!!

New thread easier, I think, old one has too much bumpf about dates and attendees.

So we're set for a London GTG on 20th August:

Likely attendees so far: (L = confirmed for lunch booking)
Kavey (+ 1 non DPC friend) LL
Pete (Ganders) L
Dave (_Io_) L
Matt (Manic) L
Jean LLL
Asit (not for lunch)

Have booked a table for lunch at 1.00pm in area of British Museum - for those who have an L by their name above. Details, address etc sent to all by PM.
I suggest Asit meet us at the British Museum at 3pm - any ideas on where?
I'd really like to see the Face to Face exhibit at the Natural History Museum too. Any other ideas?

Hi Kavey,
earlier my schedule and the dates offered didn't seem like a possibility. 20th is fine (for now atleast) for me. Count me in. Any ideas for the location / what we plan to do this time.

It would be REALLY nice if those intending to attend would join in on discussions on where and when to meet and potential plans for the day.

I'm pretty sure I'll be able to come along, and the British Museum - or any of the big museums - would be a cool place to wander around.

Matt, I'm going on the assumption that it'll be me, Pete, Io (I know he's coming as he's called me and is staying at our place) and yourself.

It's also likely that my non DPC friend will join us too.

Let's go ahead and arrange our meeting and book a restau, if need be, for us 5.

Sounds good to me, a GTG back at the "normal" sizes of a year ago ;o) I'm not fussed where we eat, so book whereever sounds good.

OK I've booked an Indian restaurant for 1.00 for lunch. It's close to the British Museum and is doing a 50% off food bill offer.

At the moment I'm listing as definites for lunch myself, Ganders, Io, Manic and my non DPC friend.

I'm also assuming Asit will be joining as he's indicated interest already, Asit, can you let me know re lunch please?

If anyone else would like to be included for lunch please contact me ASAP to give time to change the booking.

For those who don't fancy the Indian, we can arrange a time/ place to meet by the museum a little after lunch.

Kavey, I will not be able to make it for lunch but would look forward to meet after that. I am actually going to be iin the vicinity lunching with some other friends and family. Will look in the thread for the place to meet ya all after lunch.

Sorry, I'll just get address etc and find a map thing and email it to restau attendees ASAP.

I'd suggest we arrange a meeting point for non-lunchers at about 3.00 pm at the British Museum? Does that time sound ok?
