So, I'm browsing the site, looking at photos, and reading threads, and I notice that my profile has been looked at 800 times. I thought that was pretty cool, until I see that there are others out there that have had their profile looked at thousands and thousands of times! Arg! :)
Anyway, I'm fishing for some attention. I feel left out. I must be ugly ... sigh ... Maybe I need to make some outrageous comments, or something ...

1) Outragious comments work, as well as obnoxious ones.
2) Highly controversial pictures work, and if doesn't, do a Diptych / Triptych and piss everyone off.
3) Get with Dr. Jones and have him do some portraits - no wait - that will get him more views - guess you're stuck with self-portraits (jk).
4) Flame a site council member a day, starting with that scalvert guy.

First time lucky. My second entry sucked wind but provided some good experience. I’m a newbie to photography but have become addicted very quickly. I’m considering an entry to Time Capsule but I’m struggling a bit. I think I'll include a person in this one. =0)

This statistic is skewed by the fact that up until now it has been necessary to go to someone's profile page in order to send them a PM. If we ever impliment a "Reply To Comment" button/link which goes straight to the PM form while bypassing the profile page, then the stat might give some vague indication of the "popularity" of the member, but as it is, the statistic is almost meaningless as a way of evaluating someone's photography.
Perspective. I've been here almost a year and have had 3300 views with two ribbons. If you want more views, become a regular forum participant and you'll fetch more views and more favorites. Just a thought.
