I am new to digital photography and and DP, yet it is my opinion that if you choose an "ordinary object" as your subject, it should at least be in focus, not burnt out, and some composition to be a photo fit for the purpose. To enter a photo contest without these elements is very curious to me. I do know some people commit these 'errors' for effect which can be creative, but many of the shots I look at do not seem to be for the 'effect'. Am I the only one who feels this is important? I notice many of these shots still 'rate' well. |
