I went out on a limb with my circle picture... a style of picture I've never tried before. I have a feeling it will get slammed, but I was just convinced we'd have a lot of boring shots for this challenge. What are your impressions so far?

for a browse through the thumbs im impressed with how many *non* boring pictures there are.
All the fireworks showed up for me on one page - that was fun. A lot less sunsets, cds, albums, flowers and orange slices than i expected.

I agree, I tried some editing that will probably get hit pretty hard. Oh well, I liked the picture better edited then not edited. Some pictures do look pretty good, as a whole a lot of circles.
Well, uhmmm so far so good! :) I've thought and though for days for an original subject - it hit me today and I had to go shopping for it. *Crosses fingers*
three votes and I'm at a 4! I'm actually quite hurt, I really liked my picture, which is NOT (for once) of a chinchilla of any sort! Dangit. Shoulda just gone with what I know and taken a macro of a chinchilla's eye! :P
I'm feeling good about my pic, it's pretty crazy so I don't know if it will pencil. Quick question: Is negative allowed in basic editing?

Sure is a lot of firework shots! To be expected I guess, but feel bad for those as they may suffer from repetition. I am hitting mediocrity as usual again!

I honestly didn't see a lot of OH MY GOD AWESOME shots! I wonder if we are going to get alot of DQ'ed in this. I really didn't see many crappy shots neither. Alot more originality than I thought which is great!
I'll go through them better in the morn.
