I am looking for a liquid that is paint like but without the side effects of, well, staining stuff afterwards:) particularly a metal object. Preferably it should have a very sticky nature so that you can have a glob ofit running down and possible dripping down but without dropping (i..e sort of hanging there). Anyone have any ideas? I don't want to use paint because it will stain the object unless i want to spend a while sanding it away but i dont want to scratch surface of it.
Try dripping wax from colored candles (good quality ones with solid color). With controlled dripping you should be able to "freeze" the drips pretty easily...
I'm not a paint expert, but I believe that most paint you can by these days is pigmented right at the store. You pick out the color, and the dye is measured and added. Again, I'm not an expert, but I think that just getting a base without any pigment in it will give you paint-like consistency, but won't stain anything. I guess the only way to find out is to test it on something unimportant and see what happens.
