Hi Steve...Here's what I did for filters for my camera: First of all, for any camera you own, you should screw on a UV filter to the lens threads. This will protect the lens glass from scratches and other kinds of damages. Then, I purchased a Cokin filter system piecemeal. The system is very inexpensive and you buy the filters (gels) as you need them. Here's what's required...you have to by a lens adapter that's the same size as your lens threads (about $15). Then you buy a lens holder ($6.00) which fits on the lens adapter that you screwed on to your camera's lens. The individual filters fit in to the holder and can be purchased individually. They have many kinds and 3 can be fit into the holder at a time. They are high quality filters and the reason I recommend them is that if you upgrade to another camera with different sized lens threads, you don't have to go out and buy all new filters that will fit on your new cam.
