Mav, the Virgina Beach its self was nice when I was there back in 88 to 91. There is a boardwalk along the beach side which should provide some nice shots. Also there is the Cheasepeak (sp?) Bay Bridge/Tunnel, about 20 miles or so ,if I remember correctly, north of Virgina Beach
If you can swing By Norfolk where the Naval Ship Yard is you may get to see some ships (ask about taking photos near the military bases, we dont want you hog tied and blind folded and tossed in a small dark room for taking a pic of a segul near an aircraft carrier)
I think fredricksburg north of VB is very nice also....lots of old style homes and farms..but I dont remember too much from those days...
