I would guess no. From the rules page:
Layers: Only adjustment layers may be used, and the layer must be applied in normal mode. All other types of layers and all other blending methods (modes) are prohibited. Layers may not be used to apply a prohibited effect to an image.
The only way I can think of to duplicate the effect you're describing would be to use layers (ie. duplicate the background layer then rotate upper layer 45degrees). The problem is that this process falls a little outside the adjustment layer guidelines. However, I'm by no means the authority here. Just my $0.02... |
