Of particular note, on his website, is an image of a man throwing a pan of water onto a burning truck in Northern Ireland in 1981. There is so much hope from this man that he can still help or make a difference. That his efforts matter, yet in such sharp contrast, this image shows how desperately futile his act really is. This is a powerful image that speaks volumes to me. Other images on there are very powerful, but the contrasts in this particular one is astounding. |
