It was more like 50/50. Seem that some people are going to Mermaid parade on Coney Island on June 25th. I don't think too many people will want to comeback there shortly after just too shot in that area. I maybe wrong.
I suggest you start a thread for June 25 and see if you can get together with people before or after parade. I cannot make it that day. I'll be in sunny Florida. If you really want to go to Coney Island without a parade we can do another meeting at the end of July or begining of August.

Start new thread for mid or end of August. You can also go to Mermaid parade. Some people said they were going so you can PM them. It is tomorrow, I think.
I'ld love to go, but its harder for me to get away on Saturday and I'm going to California the end of July so I feel guilty. I'll let ya know this week.

Sorry, I am way out on the Island and can not make a trip into the city without my family....SOOOOooooo I had today off and took them in and took some pictures. It was a VERY HARD SHOOT! I had my five year old running the entire park at full speed and I think most shots I almost did not have enough time to punch that shutter! I got many soft images because I needed a F9 or greater but could not bump the ISO much higher due to light. They still make some nice family album shots.

Both weather sites say cloudy. It is good and bad for us. Light will be more even (no hard shadows) which is great. But if clouds will be heavy we may not have much light for long cheap lenses (70-300 4-5.6). This will be primary lens for tomorrow.
