I recently purchased a Tiffen 2x megaplus teleconverter. I am pretty happy with it. I hear there's a 3x in the works, but when I bought the 2x, that was it. I do have a couple of beefs about it though. 1) If the camera is not zoomed out all the way, I'm taking a circle picture with black filling the rest of the frame. I can live with that. 2) I also recently purchased a polarizing filter which fits on the end of the adapter (which I needed for the teleconverter). I'm not really impressed with the filter but I noticed that with it and the teleconverter attached to the camera, the corners are black on every picture no matter what. If the big end(67mm) of the teleconverter was bigger, that wouldn't happen methinks. Hope that helps you choose.
