When I did read your tread's title, many souvenirs came back to me. I used to live on Vancouver Island (Comox area) and came back to the province of Quebec some years ago.
Unfortunately, I'm about 500km from Montréal. I was on a business trip to Montreal 2 weeks ago, and I might have to go again in a week or 2. If it happens I post a message here to let you know.
