Hey all,
I'm thinking about going to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach this sunday to take some shots of fish and stuff. It'll give me time to use my new Tamron 17-35. I'd like to see how it performs at f2.8, plus use my other lenses as well.
I know this is a short notice but let me know if anyone is interested.
Sorry, Tom, I cannot make it. I have Sunday set aside for Katy as we have lots of things we want to do. Maybe we can stop by there later but I don't know. What time do you plan to be there and for how long?
We're going to church in the morning and then some shopping after that. We were also planning to see Star Wars. If our schedules match, I'll ask her if she's interested. :)
9am when it opens till I'm done, maybe in 3 hours is my guess. I try to avoid crowds.

Well, I'm back from the aquarium. Wow, tried out my Tamron 17-35 but it was a tough shooting local. Dark with fast moving objects through thick glass without flash light. I apologize if it is a bit noisy and not as sharp as it was a difficult using anything less than ISO 800.
