It's not unusual for a score to drop during a challenge. Many voters start out by voting on the pictures they like the best, and then finishing their voting later. Other voters rate pix in the middle range, and then adjust up or down a point or two later in the week.
Commenters are likely put off from making constructive/"other than completely positive" comments after all the discussion you referred to.
I think your experience is a coincidence, rather than a group of angry people with nefarious purpose. |
