I am working on my multi-image challenge and there are some straight, clean lines in my setting that appear jagged and bit-mappy in photoshop. I am using the highest resolution on my camera, and I've tried sharpening the image and adjusting the size to no avail. I must be doing something wrong, but what? Any help would be appreciated!

The first thing to check is how they look at 100% magnification in Photoshop -- it may be more display artifacts than actual jaggies.
Sharpening will probably make it worse.
Re-sampling the image down usually makes it worse -- if your photo is close to the right size, try re-sampling by exactly 50% or 25% instead of to the best-fit size.

Hey, you are right! When I look at the image at 100% the jaggies are gone. Whew. Thanks for your help!

Ahh...the easiest solution. Images will often look lousy at odd sizes because the screen has dots of fixed size/spacing, and the pixels don't always fit evenly...
